Oprah's Last Show

Oprah’s Last Show   In case you haven’t heard, Oprah Winfreys daytime show is coming to a close after 25 years this Wednesday and the talk show queen is turning to Twitter to share her thoughts on closing this chapter of her life.

On Friday, the talk show queen appeared quite serene as she shared with her 5.9 million-plus followers: “A lot of ‘lasts’ today. I’m really feeling like it’s the end. Still all sweet, no bitter.”

And, even though the show is ending, Oprah is still working around the clock.  On Sunday, she tweeted: “Been workin’ on final show with Sheri all day.Don’t miss next 3 days for sure.”  Sheri Salata is Oprah’s executive producer.

Last night, Oprah participated in a live tweet to promote her “Behind the Scenes” show.  One tweet in particular demonstrated Oprah’s desperate need for some rest and relaxation.
“what’s your favorite thing to do when you have free time? I know you don’t have much :) ,” asked @Trinetta.
An exasperated Oprah replied: “It’s been so long since I had free time. stopped at Starbucks today? Had a moment. Knowing I had a moment.”

She does sound exhausted, doesn’t she?  Well, the good news for Oprah is that after Wednesday she’ll have that moment!

After giving her email address (oprah@oprah.com) to the audience and viewers at home with a promise that all responses would in fact come directly from her, she ended with a simple message.
"I won't say goodbye, I'll just say until we meet again," Oprah said, in tears. "To God be the glory."
The show credits rolled onthe oprah show finale as she hugged longtime boyfriend Stedman Graham and shook hands with members of the audience, as well as went backstage to greet the hundreds of workers at "The Oprah Winfrey Show", many in tears as they hugged her. The show's last shot was Oprah picking up one of her beloved dogs, exclaiming, "We did it!"
