Pelosi questions Trump's manhood, compares him to skunk after border wall meeting

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi privately questioned President Donald Trump's "manhood" after a contentious meeting Tuesday about funding his wall at the southern border.

"It's like a manhood thing for him," Pelosi told Democratic members at a closed meeting of the Steering and Policy Committee on Capitol Hill, according to an aide in the room. "As if manhood could ever be associated with him. This wall thing."

Pelosi, in a feisty mood after the heated exchange with the President, also compared the President to a skunk.

"I was trying to be the mom," the California Democrat said, according to the aide. "I can't explain it to you. It was so wild. It goes to show you: You get into a tickle contest with a skunk, you get tinkle all over you."

The press-filled Oval Office meeting had been slated to cover border wall funding and the looming possibility of a partial government shutdown, but it quickly gave way to a reality TV atmosphere, with jabs between the President and Democratic leaders.

Pelosi also told members that she and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer got Trump to take full accountability for the possible partial shutdown. Government funding runs out for about 25% of federal government spending on December 21.

"The fact is we did get him to say, to fully own that the shutdown was his," she said to applause, according to the aide. "That was an accomplishment."

During the White House meeting, Pelosi and Schumer, a New York Democrat, referenced the possible government freeze as a "Trump shutdown."

"If we don't get what we want, one way or the other ... I will shut down the government," Trump said.

After the meeting, Pelosi revealed to Democrats that Trump had claimed in their private session that Mexico would pay for the wall -- his oft-stated campaign promise that he has abandoned since taking office.

"He says, 'Mexico is going to pay for the wall.' I said, 'They're not paying for the wall,' " Pelosi said, according to an aide. "He said, 'They're paying for the wall with the money we're gonna make over the newly revised USMCA,' formerly known as NAFTA, whatever it is, formerly known as NAFTA. I said, 'You're going to take the money we made from the trade agreement. Well, that's an opportunity cost, Mr. President, for American workers and our economy that's supposed to benefit from that.' "

Donald Trump is still abusing women...with his wife Melania the latest victim. 

Yet another alleged abuse victim of Donald Trump emerged last night on CNN, and again this morning on Fox — and this time, it was the candidate's own wife, Melania Trump.

Yes, the would-be First Lady was trotted out for the cameras to deliver, in her own (or her husband's own) words, how proud she is of her husband for standing up to the left-wing media conspiracy against him.

Huh? Yes, just a few days after the release of a tape on which her husband boasted of sexually abusing women, Melania Trump said it's all a conspiracy because "my husband is kind, he's a gentleman, he cares about people, he cares about women. He is not the man you heard on the tape."

Actually, he is the man we heard on that tape. And he's the man we've seen in the headlines for decades boasting that sex with him is "the best sex" anyone has ever had. So pretty much everyone believes the allegations of the Cosby-esque binders of women that have testified that Donald Trump's locker-room talk isn't just talk.

It's pretty clear that Melania herself believes some of the allegations about her husband, admitting on CNN that the tape sounded to her like "two teenage boys (who) should behave better, right?"

"Sometimes I say I have two boys at home," she said "I have my young son and my husband." (Which one is running for president? It's hard to tell, which is why it's not too late to consider dumping Donald for Barron.)

Of course, Donald Trump is not the first flailing politician to repulsively trot out his traumatized wife for the cameras. They all do it when they need cover. And Hillary Clinton knows that better than anyone.

But as in that famous "I'm not Tammy Wynette" moment, the wife isn't typically sent out there to do battle alone. When Hillary stood by her man, at least Bill was sitting there, squirming and having to pretend that he was sorry.

Melania's only allies were her penthouse view and her gilded Louis XIV chairs. Nothing says, "My husband is a man of the people and this whole thing is a left-wing conspiracy" like a penthouse view and a gilded Louis XIV chair.

Donald Trump says he won’t run for President

So it turns out that Donald Trump got the joke after all. Or maybe he was the one who put one over on everyone else.Either way, the reality TV star and real estate mogul has concluded that the time has come to end it.
“After considerable deliberation and reflection, I have decided not to pursue the office of the presidency,” Trump announced in a statement on Monday. But, he added: “I maintain the strong conviction that if I were to run, I would be able to win the primary and, ultimately, the general election.”
No one ever knew for sure whether Trump’s flirtation with a 2012 bid was more serious than his earlier ones had been in 1988 and 2000, or whether it was simply his latest attention-getting, ratings-boosting stunt.
Had he run for the Republican nomination, it would have been the most ambitious brand extension effort yet for a man who has slapped his name on, among other things, luxury hotels, country clubs, men’s clothing, bottled water, chocolate and the Miss Universe Pageant.
Trump originally said he would not reveal his decision until this Sunday’s season finale of his NBC show, “Celebrity Apprentice.” But another deadline may have overridden his showman’s impulses: Monday was the day that NBC, which has been struggling in the ratings, was scheduled to present its fall schedule to advertisers in New York.
Network executives reportedly had been pressuring Trump, whose show is one of the network’s most popular, to make his intentions clear. When he appeared onstage for what is known as “upfront” presentation, advertisers cheered.
Trump’s announcement came two days after former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee bowed out of next year’s race, during his own television show on Fox News Channel. Trump made a cameo on Huckabee’s show, which, in retrospect, may have been a clue.
